Navigating Your Way By Car
From the North
If you’re driving from the north, the most common route involves traveling on Interstate 85 South. Take Exit for the US-147 South/Downtown Durham. Stay to your right as you approach the exit ramp. This will place you onto US-147, which is a controlled-access highway. Then follow the signs towards Downtown. The DBAP will be on your left after you pass the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC). You can expect a drive time to the ballpark from this direction to be dependent on how far north you are driving from, but, even in peak traffic, you should be able to arrive fairly quickly.
Remember to look for the iconic Bulls signs along the way as you get closer!
From the South
For those approaching from the south, take Interstate 85 North. As with the route from the North, take the exit for US-147 South/Downtown Durham. Follow the same directions as those arriving from the North. The DBAP will be easily identifiable to the left after you pass the Durham Performing Arts Center. Be aware of traffic, especially if you are arriving close to game time.
From the East
If you’re coming from the east, you can utilize a few routes. You might travel via Interstate 40 West, and you should connect to US-147 South towards Downtown. The trip is often a shorter drive, but it can depend on where you are coming from in the east. Be mindful of potential congestion, especially on game days. Other routes, using highways like US-70, may also be useful, but they will involve some smaller road driving.
From the West
For those traveling from the west, Interstate 40 East will be your main thoroughfare. As with other directions, connect to US-147 South. Follow the signage towards Downtown, and the DBAP will be located on the left.
